Overview:  Author, Author! This cultural stroll through the streets of Richmond highlights the lives and works of George Eliot, Virginia Woolf and other famous writers with local connections.

Victorian Walk (one off walk)


Overview:  A bygone age of cobbled streets, gaslight and horse-drawn vehicles brought to life.  The coming of the railways.  A picture of Richmond in Queen Victoria’s reign.

Dates & Time: Saturday 7 July at 11.00am

Meeting point: Richmond Station by the Visitor Information Stand on the upper concourse, Richmond, TW9 2NA


World War I (one off walk)


Overview:  Volunteering, conscription, The East Surreys, battles, the Volunteer Training Corps, military hospitals, the Poppy Factory, the Red Cross, war memorials and the end of the War.
