Heritage Guides
We are an independent voluntary society promoting interest in the local history of our area.
We have been in existence for over 20 years and we work in conjunction with the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. We offer a full programme of public and private guided walks

Public Walks Programme
Our programme currently consists of two Regular Walks around Richmond
and eleven Special Walks around Richmond, Twickenham and Kew

Our regular walks commence at 11.00am and, with a few exceptions, are held generally
on Thursdays and the last Sunday of each month between June and October. They are focused principally on the history of Richmond in it's role as a place of royal residence

Our special walks are mainly one-off events which commence at various times in the morning, afternoon or evening on specific days throughout the period February to December. They cover a variety of subjects in some detail and combine to give a flavour of the more common aspects of the area's history

Please refer to the menu for programme details

The Guides reserve the right to alter or cancel a walk without notice
