Richmond Heritage Guides organise a range of guided walks from June to November each year.

Guided walks are a great way to discover some of the Thames-side villages in the Borough in the company of a knowledgeable and local guide.

As well as our usual walks around Richmond, Twickenham and Kew, we will also explore East Sheen, East Twickenham & Hampton Wick.

In addition we have three themed walks. In July we have the Victorian Walk, in October the World War I walk, and finally in November why not join us on our Literary Walk. Discover where Virginia Woolf, George Eliot and other famous authors lived. We even discuss a Canterbury Tale on this cultural stroll!

We take you down little known lanes, off the beaten track, and help you discover the Borough’s forgotten past. Whether you are a resident or visitor, we bring alive the history of the wonderful Borough of Richmond upon Thames that you perhaps never knew existed, and share little-known anecdotes on people and places.

Richmond is only 20 minutes by train from Waterloo. No need to book, just turn up and pay the guide on the day – what could be easier!
